From the training floor to cleaner formulas
Marcus Hale spent a decade as a personal trainer in Austin. He watched clients crush workouts — then struggle through the afternoon on under-dosed bottles and sugary energy drinks. Boost Nootropics started as his answer to that gap.

The origin story
Between 2010 and 2017, Marcus coached athletes, desk workers, and weekend warriors across South Austin. The training plans worked. The focus, sleep, and afternoon energy often did not. Clients were buying whatever was loudest on the shelf — proprietary blends with trace actives, or caffeine bombs that left them wired and depleted.
He started reading labels the way he read training logs. In late 2017 he began formulating small stacks with transparent dosing: ingredients he could explain, amounts that matched published ranges, and nothing added just for the marketing panel. Friends from the gym asked for bottles. In 2018 he registered Boost Nootropics and shipped the first Focus Caps and Sleep Stack lots from a shared kitchen space off Freidrich Lane.
Today the brand still ships from Austin. Every lot posts a third-party certificate of analysis. Labels stay modest on purpose — we sell supplements for everyday cognitive wellness, not miracles.
